Block 136 “The Heartline”
– Portland, Oregon –
A full-block development in the trendy Pearl District of Portland. This project consists of two levels of underground parking with a 15-story apartment building and a 5-story timber-framed office building above grade. Viking is protecting the underground parking with two dry-pipe sprinkler systems and protecting the above-grade buildings with wet sprinkler systems originating from a combination standpipe in each building. The fire protection system includes a vertical-turbine fire pump system.
